It was a great experience. Got to meet different kind of actors. Both experienced as well as freshers. Got to learn from different people. Learnt to manage myself with others seniors as well as juniors. There were plays every week so exposure was very easy. Staging plays written by historical writers and portrayed their ideas and their thinking.
Mujeeb khan is one of the best teachers I have come across. His command over language is amazing.he is like this one captain of the ship. He has the ability to judge actors very well without money. I m like this colourless picture and I need to be painted. May good god bless him.

Having spent over ten months under the aegis of Mr. Mujeeb Khan, I can vouch for the fact that there is no better platform for an actor to work, learn, practice, observe and grow.

I know for a fact that there are very few theatre groups that give you a chance to be on stage before committing‘x’ amount of years doing backstage/production work. It can be demoralizing and also frustrating waiting for your turn in the hierarchy of things. What drew me towards IDEA was the simple fact that Mujeebji has the confidence to put his students on stage, realising that there will be mistakes, nonetheless instilling in them a sense of responsibility and faith to go and face the adversities and learn from them. Not to mention you also get a chance to do backstage which is extremely important for an actor.

I’ve seen a tremendous personal growth in the time spent at IDEA. Having had the chance of working on numerous socially relevant plays, street plays and some great plays written by Munshi Premchand which not only have broadened by understanding of Hindustani literary culture but also have given me greater play reading consciousness and much richer vocabulary, a habit what I cultivated at IDEA.

Above all just spending time, listening to Mujeebji talking about his own theatre experiences, anecdotes about great actors, techniques and preparations an actor needs to make. is an experience which I will cherish for life.

Theatre helped a lot. That was the best thing in life that I did. IDEA gave me a platform where I could perform. I performed many plays a week. Theatre helped me open up and understand what acting is. I was very raw when I came to IDEA but it taught me a lot. I learned discipline here. I could explore myself and play with myself.

Mujeeb sir is a very positive person. He is hardworking, energetic and encouraging. He is the best teacher so far I have met. I have done so many workshops but I found him one of the best teachers. More than a teacher he is a father, he makes you feel comfortable and at home. He creates a good atmosphere. Besides acting he also inculcates discipline in you. He is very inspirational and spontaneous. Anybody who wants to become an actor should join IDEA. He can make any one act.

  As an actor I m growing up so I need IDEA at every step. Theatre is fun. I miss IDEA and will surely join whenever I m free and there are no shoots.

Experience at IDEA was very good, lot of voice improvement and loudness in voice. Getting compliments from people for the improvement. Natural while doing emotional roles.

Mujeeb khan's is doing a fabulous job. very good concept. Actors work for months together. Lot of exposure to all the actors. Life very much different than working on tv. No star treatment. Very much close to reality.
